Well, I wasn't really convinced by that team @ 11-0 I know that. Didn't pass the eye test.

Both the teams you mentioned were significantly better to my eye, than that 11-0 Steelers team, despite the playoff losses they had...

I mean you don't just look at the record when you're assessing a team right?

 

how long will we endure Tomlins <old> same stupid style of plays--both off. and def. Forget running--> the <<<Glory>>> days are gone..get something exciting in the pass attack or get-out..Whatever foolish scheme they are using on DEF.is ...What is wrong with Blitzing more..Are we afraid we will give up points and lose---oh wait we already do that..wow

 

Not being able to stop the offense on 3rd downs is a constant with all coordinators. That's the biggest kick in the nuts the last decade. Maybe more.

 

I agree, but that doesn’t mean we have been doing the same things. Also stopping teams on 3rd down is usually the bane of all teams that are losing.

 

LoL. They were so significantly better they both lost their 1st playoff game, just like we did. The only difference is You, me, and everyone on here are Steelers fans,so most just feel it differently.

 

The 2020 steelers are more comparable with the cards in 2021 or eagles in 2023 since they all won only 1 game in the last 6-7 games after such a great start.It was a massive collapse

 

That Steelers 11-0 was the biggest smoke amd mirrors record I can remember.

 

I would say a 15- 2 team that gets beat in their 1st playoff game, no matter who they are, is the worst I've ever seen. Matter of fact it would be , because nobody since we have went to a 17 game season had had that great of a record , and lost their 1st playoff game.
