I don't think TJ is a has been at all, I think they're using him very wrong. Then again the coaches coaching are the has beens IMO.

 

They do business like that for rare players. TJ is one. Ben was another. Fine.

 

Good luck finding another player of his caliber for cheaper. All you people saying we need an elite QB should realize that those are costing a half billion dollars these days. That hit makes signing other top players more difficult. Pretty much the reason the Bengals will be without Joe Burrow this season. His Oline was terrible.

Slight loss of step + chipping + keeping him in the same spot = nullified.

 

We are a couple of games into the season and some are ready to write Watt off. He has been disruptive in both games and is setting the edge. Most of the big runs seem to be coming from Highsmith/Herbig’s side of the defense.

 

268 days is just troll worthy. There was something like 210 or 220 days where he wasn’t even playing football because of the offseason.

 

Watt will be fine. There's a plethora of things wrong with this defense and he's not one of them.

 

If he doesn't make all pro throughout this contract he's a bust. You don't pay someone 41 mill/or to be a decoy.

 

I know they need to do something to switch things up, but I still lining TJ up on the right is a stupid idea and a waster of time.

Keep him on the left, but have him stunt inside a few times, or have him drop in coverage.

 

Opposing players know we can get away with holding TJ all game long and not get flagged.

It’s only 2 games but going back to the end of last year he seems like a guy whose best days are well behind him. He was a great Steeler but he will have ended his career making QB money and never winning a playoff game.

 

Is it TJ's fault or is it that the rest of the D stinks so teams can focus on neutralizing him? TJ has done things to be disruptive that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Coordinators fault in not moving him around and it will be his fault staying in Pittsburgh when he retires without a playoff win. Just my opinion

 

For a guy mad about garret he’s disappeared while Myles still producing. I don’t like MG either.

 

But unlike the Steelers so far, the Browns have an all around good defense.

 

Myles finished out his DPOY year with 5 or 6 straight games without a sack….
