All right ladies and gentlemen. I saw the tape of Jones blocking vs. the Jets. He does it like a novice telegraphing and his moves before the snap. Red flag. Crossing his feet. Red flag! He has no clue how to use his hands. His run blocking is average. And his recovery from his mistakes is poor.

He is not a rookie anymore. That excuse has left the building. He is going to get Rodgers hurt. Period.

If he plays like crap this week, it is time for the bench. Tomlin MUST act. What could the coaches do? Run some screen plays to his side. The opposing defender on his side is excited to sack our QB. Use that unfortunate fact against them.

I was saying this when he played RT... no way he should be protecting any QB's blind side, much less a 41 year old QB. He should be better than this by now. He's a liability and couldn't beat out average Moore. Steelers are flying a burning plane at LT.

Who replaces Joey Porter??? Echols? Pierre? Just an opinion but I think Porter is playing on his dads name. I don't see him developing into elite defender.

I see we lost Elliott for this game also. Please don't let Sammy boy tear up our secondary.

The scary part is that there really isn't another option on the roster.

So we'll almost certainly try to let him play through it and get better. Maybe if that doesn't happen by the time we go overseas, we start to try to get a trade going for someone who's at least a half-decent starting LT. But it's not like those are just laying around somewhere.

I watched his tape as well, and while he had a few bad reps, I honestly didn't think he was terrible. McDonald is a good EDGE and flat-out abused him a couple of times. But the main issue I saw was that he seems to lunge in a direction at times, and if it's in the wrong direction (especially outside), his defender is by him. I'm not sure why he does it; it's like he's guessing which way his defender is going to break off the snap.

Maybe somebody should give him Troy's number so he can get some pointers on knowing what's about to happen.

If he loses focus and confidence and continues to play like &#^t we have the following options.

Move Troy F the left tackle and play Jones at right tackle. Maybe this is the right switch .

    OR

Start C Anderson at left tackle.

If Jones plays like he did vs. the Jets or even a little better vs. Seattle that is not good enough.

We might have to play two TE's often and let one of them help Jones out.

I say we give Jones two more games as the starting left tackle.

Broderick better bounce back tomorrow for his sake. If not, expect Pittsburgh to scout even more OTs this upcoming draft. That sure as hell doesn't bode well for Pittsburgh's chance to nab a QB either UNLESS Will Howard has been exceeding expectations so much that the team feels confident about him being the Starter once Aaron elects to leave.

Not just Broderick though; the entire Offensive Line has to have a bounce back game. As I said already in the Off Season; this young Line will take some lumps as there will be growing pains. Week 1 was nothing more than vindication of that fact. Week 2 isn't any easier with the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy and Boye Mafe. That isn't including a run stuffer like Jarran Reed either.

If there is ever a time to begin taking less lumps?! Tomorrow would be a good starting point. Have to get some momentum going before facing off against Minnesota in Ireland.
