I certainly hope so. Sunday's game was exactly what concerned me when they signed Gainwell, that they would try to have him split snaps and touches with Warren because Warren can't handle the heavier workload. It's a hell of a lot easier to run like he does when another guy is doing the majority of the work.

I'd say this just demonstrated what he said about your argumentative style - you see things more as "you thought you had a chance to prove me wrong", rather than "you presented a different take from your point of view." There's nothing wrong with being passionate about your views, but at the end of the day they're opinions. With many topics here, we're not going to know whose was more 'right' until things play out down the road, if at all.

Framing your 'tenacious' replying tendencies as bringing substance to 'there's still something to say' is a stretch. More often that not it's just you repeating the very same points you've already presented, peppered with a passive-aggressive jab or two at the other party. Neither adds anything productive to the discussion.

I wanted to point out something you said that was inaccurate in reply to my post that wasn’t said before. Warren absolutely did take on Harris roll, short yardage, goal line and early down work. And consequently, Gainwell took on Warrens roll. These are indisputable facts.

I disagree the new rules make it very similar to a running play.. I see a clear LOS , running lanes and cutback lanes and breaking tackles is breaking tackles ..IMO the returner has a huge advantage over a RB he gets a 25 yard head start and he can pick any hole he wants from sideline to sideline much easier than being a RB in a Offense..

IMO he should look like a stud as a KR if he ever hopes to be a starting RB

I'm not the one who wrote that he thought about letting the argument go, but he saw an opportunity to prove the other poster wrong. That was Blast. That is what he wrote about his own thought process. He has tried to reframe that since.

If you don't think there are others looking to win the argument and repeating the same talking points, you either aren't paying close enough attention or you are allowing your own biases to color your perceptions of the discussion.

And I pointed out what you missed, that while Warren took on the type of role that used to go to Harris, he did not take on all of it. He failed to take on the volume, which was one of Harris's strengths. Harris had a big edge over Warren in snaps and touches even if you just consider games in which Warren was healthy enough to play. Gainwell actually got more snaps than Warren, which is a problem. They are a much weaker offense with him out there.

One of the biggest concerns I raised when it became clear they were going to let Harris go was that Warren has not proven that he can handle a lead back's workload. Week 1 did nothing to address that concern. If anything, it gave us more reason to question the team's decisions because Gainwell leading the team's running backs in snaps.

You seem to be presenting Gainwell taking Warren's old role from him as a good thing, but it isn't. Warren is a far better option in passing situations. He has a knack for making plays that keep drives going. He is also a much better blocker than Gainwell. The proper complement to Warren would be a back who can take some of the load on first and second down. Hopefully that will eventually be Johnson, but that certainly wasn't the case against the Jets.

Keep trying to inflame the situation while acting as if you are trying to help. Once again, I'm trying to discuss the topic and you are doing nothing but criticizing another poster. How is that good for the discussion on this board?

I didnt miss it, its just doesn’t change anything. Of course he needs to get more carries but he still had Harris roll. Game script played a big part in that game. I posted earlier where Harris had similar production as Warren did Sunday.

Gainwell was brought in to take over Warrens roll, why would it surprise you that he got a decent size workload? So did Warren when he was in that roll. if you have been following the news since the game, they are very high on Gainwell, he’s actually very good catching passes. I suspect he will have the same workload Warren had and Johnson will work in some carries with Warren on the early downs, short yardage and goal line to round out the division of labor as Tomlin likes to say.

And as you saw Sunday, they aren’t removing Warren from the passing game entirely.

Once again, I corrected something you said that was inaccurate which hadn’t been part of our discussions prior to that. Wasn’t going to let you correct something I said that wasnt true.

I’ll walk away from a debate after you have regurgitated something inaccurate 50 times but generally wont do that when it’s something new.

Still waiting for you to answer what you are “winning.” Can you tell me how many trophies TTF has sent to you?

I took one in that needed a home
    They make lousy pets
Owner (me) has to prove alpha dominance regularly and it can get tough
Bred from a greyhound to make it fast and a mastiff to make it powerful and then that was bred with a red wolf to give it an ill disposition 94 pounds of pure muscle
    Fastest dog I ever met
Those Paul Newman blue eyes under incandescent light turn to blood red like the devil himself
That look in the picture is 100% **** you
Ill tempered dumb and disagreeable but he was extremely protective and very gentle with old people and kids
He was the worst dog I ever owned and yet he was my best friend
I cried when he died this just made me sad

    RIP Coleman the Catahoula

I'm not the one who claimed he was posting to win an argument, so your question is irrelevant.

Your correction was false and I haven't posted anything inaccurate in this discussion. You did when you claimed that Warren took on Harris's role from last year. Volume of snaps and touches were a big part of his role and Warren still hasn't proven he can do that. He certainly didn't do it against the Jets, when Gainwell got more snaps than Warren.
