    Did he win it twice??
I couldn't remember, I thought only once, but my memory of that time is long ago.

Yup twice. Some people said Stallworth shouldve gotten it but it went to Terry again.

You're like a dog with his bone.
Are you satisfied with our playoff success?
Tell me this, what do you consider the ultimate goal and purpose of a team playing an NFL season?
Do you consider Tomlin a top coach, a solid coach or a mediocre coach?
Do you think we have searched for improvments in coordinators when needed?
Do you think we have good game plans against GOOD teams in December and January?

I'd say, if we're both being impartial, that most everyone on this board is correct.
Tomlin probably isn't THAT bad of a coach (some of us would like an improvment, but there are far worse retreads, admittedly)
Steelers are rarely as good as their 9-8 or 10-7 record and it shows (this is something you must admit)

If you admit Tomlin and his choices of OC/DC have been merely average the past 15 years, I'll admit Tomlin is a solid head coach that seems to lack a key ingredient in his choices to make any noise in the playoffs.

There's some good and some bad.
Unfortunately, the bad means Super Bowl win may not be in our future until Tomlin finally retires. We know at this point he won't be fired (perhaps unfortunate for diehard fans, perhaps not).

No I'm not satisfied with how it's ended, but unlike a bunch on here, I'm not satisfied with a playoff win either, it either SB, or bust always.
What I'm not is dumb enough to think our couching sucks, we can't develop players, the whole NFL knows everything we run year in, and year out on Offense, and Defense, and yet somehow by some undefined magic we still average 10.5 wins a season, but hey if magic make people believe that's how we do it, then who I'm I to tell them that Santa doesn't exist.
People laugh at the magic part, but if You , or anyone actually believes that they can't coach, or develop players, and everyone know exactly what we are running, then how would you explain it.
What bothers most people that actually believe this stuff is.... .when put to them, they have no answer, so they try being flippant.....it's just human nature in some people, and for those that say it's turnovers, well then either one of two things explains that......either they are coaching that very well, or we have magic. LoL

If the coaching is so bad from top to bottom....who got Mason McCormick ready to play at an NFL level? Who helped make Ryan McCollum a viable NFL back-up?

Just two examples. Steelers message boards like to have player success be a 100% player thing and player failure a 100% coaching thing.

    Makes almost no sense.

Prefer to have first rounders work out because that tells us the scouts (and coaches) seemed to get it right.

We all would, but that's why we see 1st round guys fall out on every team in the NFL. For example: go look at KCs last five years 1st round draft picks, and Ive heard on here many, many , many times that Andy Reid is a genius. What I'm getting at is it happens. Although maybe, just maybe Jones turns it around for us.
