I agree. I think a lot of fans are overrating the current RBs on this team and expecting them to pull off miracles behind this subpar o-line.

 

Why are we talking about Fields?

I think it's been close to a decade since we've seen this type of Steelers QB performance. Mike T must be pumped.

OL and DL play was atrocious as was ILB play.

 

The first sack Jones gave up, he did re-anchor and stop McDonald but AR ran ran into the sack.

The second sack Jones gave up, I'm pretty sure he thought he had help inside, Seumalo just stood there looking for someone to block.

Could be better obviously but he was hardly terrible individually.

 

I went to bed early last night and just noticed the Ratbirds lost.

I feel like saying "Ha-Ha" the way Nelson does on the Simpsons, LOL.

 

I was surprised how involved Gainwell was in the game plan. Not very effectively though. 10 touches for 25 total yards.

 

The O-Line protection and lack of run game is a huge concern, but this has been an ongoing problem. Nothing new. It is time to send Meyer packing. He is not good enough as a coach. It won't happen until his contract is up, sucks, but he has failed to get this O-Line we keep investing draft capital to perform.

Coach better get to work on his defense because they hit a lot of Whammies out there and made Justin Fields look like Lamar Jackson. This was the JETS, not the Bills, Ravens, or Chiefs.

I am glad Rodgers went off in the passing game and all in favor of his post-game pettiness and spite towards the JETS organization. That was entertaining.

 

DK, made two ridiculous plays before disappearing. That rac on that first 1st down catch was ridiculous and caught me by surprise. I said "Whoa!"

Aaron Rodgers will never play a full 17 game season if this OL continues to struggle. I am tired of all the excuses
given for the players and coaches. Aaron R. needs a running game, he can't absorb the hits he took yesterday at his age
and expect him to perform. he was de cleated on that last sack.

 

Was kinda wondering if this was intentional by Tomlin in order to avoid an early mishap by Warren fumbling the football? NJY DL is no slouch and knowing Warren's troubles with the ball it might have been a focus for them to go after him. Tomlin switches it up with Gainwell who's only fumbled 4 times in his career.

 

Disappearing?? You have to target a player of that caliber and often!

 

NO. Cmon man Steelers just signed Warren to an expensive extension, he is our feature back.

Expensive extension? Warren is about half the cost Harris would be this season. It's a two man backfield until Johnson figures things out. Then it could be a three-man backfield. And that is not a bad thing.

Nobody said that rotation is not a good thing, but he is being paid to be the cow bell rb.

 

It makes no sense at all to use the word usually when it only happened once.

Also, he didn't go backward. The team stupidly ran him wide and he wasn't fast enough to outrun the poorly-designed, poorly-blocked play.
