With the game on the line, I feel more confident with the ball in Rodgers’ hand than Fields’. Let’s see how Fields performs next week against a D he knows little about

For sure we need work every where, but this is a game you have to win if you hope to get to the PO's, so sloppy first sloppy win down, lets get some more.

Not a bad thought, but I don't think that fields had the chops to be able to truly make a difference on the offense. I believe that Aaron Rodgers has the strength of personality and the experience to be able to see issues and get something done about them. I don't think Fields has that intangible.

Not really, it all comes down to getting the proper coaching, which we don’t have.

So weird watching Rodgers play for the Steelers but loved what I saw, guy can still play.

Defense, woof. Better fix that **** fast.

    Boz, worth every penny.

Defensive line was terrible but I do like how Black played, have to imagine Cam will improve after sitting all pre-season and I have hope that Harmon will contribute. Be nice to get Herbig in there as well.

Hopefully the injuries were minor - I guess Elliot is the only concern.

More than anything, as it's been for years, I just do NOT like the Defensive scheme/play calling. Too predictable, too boring. It was very effective bringing Safeties and LBs in the 4th but why not try it (or something else) for the first 50 minutes?!

I'm still not giving up on Broderick. Playing LT after two years at RT, against a good D Line, and with a poor position coach, it's going to take time. It better start improving quickly though or Aaron will be dead, the season will be over, and Jones will be a truck driver.

Gotta work that run game more.

Nice to have a great QB, even if for only 1 year.

    Boz is absolutely incredible.

By the way, someone want to put Roman Wilsons face on a milk carton.

    Officially worried about that cat.

This is a good Jets defensive front and I don’t think we need to panic but it’s a worry that the Steelers could hardly run the ball at all. This offence just won’t work without a reliable running game

Rodgers made a few really nice throws and I think any time they get into the Redzone they’ll have a good chance of coming away with a score

Defence really struggled and will be very disappointed with their performance but it’s week 1 and they have time to improve.

The win was the most important thing today

I was actually hoping that first TD was him until I realized it was Skow running (no offense to him).

I saw Jones beat almost every play. Game ball to Rodgers for surviving and putting up good numbers. However, he won't last with those hits. The first one he sustained would have given KFP a concussion.

Really need to find a way to get Jonnu upfield 5 catches for 15 yards. The short yardage screen pass. Yikes. Delete that play

Also Gainwell is not the weapon the coaches think he is.

    First another solid list blackandgoldpatrol

There is no way that Rodgers will survive getting sacked 5 times and hit consistently. They best straighten this situation out and fast!

The D Line was a sieve. I did think that Yahya Black got some nice push though. Benton was owned most of the game as well as bloated Heyward.

The trenches best work overtime this week and get their $hit together.

The secondary at times seemed confused. 5 guys around a receiver catching the ball is not a good look. Ramsey was a solid pick up. Slay had a day to forget.

Rodgers can still sling with touch. What a welcome site. And scans the field with precision.

Warren had a solid game as well as Austin III.

I have to give props to Fields. The kid played a hell of a game in a loss.

Aaron played well. D played horrible. We were lucky to win this game. We got a turnover deep in their territory on kickoff return. That Metcalf catch that shouldn’t have happened. 60 yard field goal. Jets going for and missing two 2 point conversions. Steelers should be glad that this game ended when it did. Also the run blocking has been terrible. Meyer should be on hot seat. What’s Munchak doing. That B gap run defense was terrible. Benton, Black, Highsmith all messed up there. Jack sawyer is never going to be Watt. Overmatched.

I think you’re just coming to a conclusion because he was the lone OL with the negative mark. He got beat twice pretty hard and gave up plays. Had another throwaway. I get that he needs to be better, but he wasn’t beat on every play. Rodgers had many clean pockets and didn’t take a huge beating at all. I think his numbers are indicative of that.

Rodger’s has no mobility. If the Oline can start to protect him. Watch out. Boz was awesome again. That is all you need sometimes is a great kicker!

Boz is just an unbelievable talent. I can't believe we have him.

Also, Rodgers can smoke the **** out of a pack tonight. Insane performance

I name the 49ers because their kicker is 0-2 in FG today and he was horrible last season!
