Jones? WTF? He is terrible, Played soft, never stepped into his throws. OKLA should have been top 5 team but he is a VAG

 

I didn't expect a QB this early I thought maybe in the 6th or 7th round.

 

You gotta think Charlie Batch's time in Pittsburgh is over now.

Thanks, now it makes more sense. But still having two 3rd would be nice for next year. hope Thomas was worth the gamble.

 

Loved the Shamarko pick. Not sure about Jones... Still think we'll get at least: OL, ILB and a WR today

 

Jones rattles pretty easily. I'm not sure pro coaches can fix that. Not optimistic about that one.

i'm not the only one who doesn't like the pick, so maybe this is a really bad sign.

 

I had feeling we were gona draft him, he had a good year lst yeaq, pollian said he was the best qb in the draft ,

 

Man... I had a feelting that was going to be a QB, but I'd rather have Bray.

 

I dont mind it. Some will say oh he'd be there in the 5th or something. As I said last night if a team wants a player bad enough they'll get him regardless of round. Many had Jones graded as 3-5 rounder so its not out of the range for him/etc.

 

Horrendous . A guy that's known to crumble under pressure behind our line, please. Terrible pick. We're not going anywhere without Ben. I can see drafting a fill in but not in the 4th. Terrible!

i question shamarko's coverage abilities. he's an in the box safety thats for sure. love the jones pick. he's the one i wanted, but i didn't see trading up in the 4th for him. i thought if he fell to the 5th there was a chance. he had a great percentage passing alot. 2 solid picks. shamarko's going to need some work carnell.

 

No kidding, he has a future on DWTS the way his feet move

 

So far they have ignored all guys with off the field issues...i think...so it doesnt surprise me.

Lake was talking about Shmarko against USC and how even though he was the SS they just had him cover Woods the whole game and shut him down and even had a pick. He also said if Shamarko was 2 inches taller hw would've gone in the first two rounds. But he's not worried about his height at all since he can jump over 40 inches.
