The offense being good and the defense struggling against a team without any real playmakers is insane

 

That's beyond some people's understanding of football. They weren't going for it, they just wanted to run what they could off the clock

 

I liked Fields. He looks good.

Rodgers can’t get set.


Same with every QB the last 10 years.

The Boss wanted the OLine fixed and they didn’t.

 

Rodgers still has an elite arm.......that pass off balance was all arm strength and accuracy

 

Never dreamed the O line would be better than D line.

 

Passing game looks really good in spurts. The rush game is beyond anemic, though.

Yup, looks like he wasn’t in the correct gap a few times, but it doesn’t help in the guy you put in is in those gaps and is getting manhandled!

 

I am simply referring to the first half. That said, it shouldn't be too surprising the Defense is off to the slow start. Way too many new pieces to assimilate into a system they are unfamiliar with.

 

And yet he hires and EXTENDS a well below average ol coach

 

I think Rodgers/smith was trying to slow down plays to help the defense stay off the field. But that hurt us.

Sadly looks like the Steelers will have to rely on shootout games. Unless this defense can get it together.

 

By the way it looks they won't need one.
