finally it's here. a couple of hours away from kickoff. did they do enough to build this team? i think they did pretty well. putting them all together is something we haven't seen yet. a couple of injuries are keeping it from full display but it's close. i expect good things from them. we shall see if it comes to fruition. Let's Rock!!! We'll moider da bums!!! Go Stillers!!!!!

 

So unhappy Paramount Plus is NOT showing the game here on the west coast. I will have to settle for the highlights tomorrow. Go Steelers!!

Any of you guys not able to watch go to Steelers.com and you can listen to the broadcast there. Only problem it's a little behind the game.

 

Never ever did I think I'd cheer for Aaron Rodgers. Hate goes away when wearing black and gold.

 

I actually worry about whether or not we are ready for the season. We have a lot of new critical position players in starting positions. They've practiced together, but they haven't played a game together yet. So I expect growing pains. I think having the Jets as our first game is fantastic for us because it's not like we're playing the eagles or something. Yes, any team can beat us, but there's some teams that I would rather not face in the first week when I don't think we have all of our collective crap together yet.....

I'm hopeful for a win. We are favored by a couple points. But, so many new moving pieces introduce that kernal of doubt in my head. I think we'll edge the Jets out by 7 points or less. Everything today is going to hinge on how well we can stop their ground game.

I haven't got any expectations this year, just hoping for a fun ride.

 

Excited to see a positive change with the offensive line. Just having Warren running will make a big difference.

 

I am expecting a slow start and a close game. Steelers under Tomlin and Cowher tend to struggle against the Jets.

Should be a game where I keep my blood pressure meds beside but that's every game lol

 

This is going to be a tough game. Brand new head coach and offensive coordinator so they’ve got nothing to work with to learn tendencies etc.

Just an opinion but I think Rodgers has a fantastic game today and by 4th qtr. we got them.

I'll take a lot of crap if it goes the other way.

NFL Insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic revealed on Saturday, September 6, that Aaron Rodgers looks better than ever.

“I’m told [Rodgers] has quietly had a phenomenal training camp for the Steelers. Rodgers, according to folks I’ve talked with in Pittsburgh, looks refreshed, healthy, and ready to roll,”
