Song, or Instrumental of the Day.

I got to meet Tim Kelly in the early 90's. At the time I had no idea how accomplished he was on guitar, I only knew him from Slaughter. He was always extremely nice to me even though I was always kinda 'whatever dude', and distant. I didn't find out about his death until years after he was killed, almost a decade after. I regret not being more outgoing during that time.

 

I woke up this morning thinking I had this great melody to work out on my guitar, I got a few notes in, and realized that this is what was stuck in my head. LoL

 

The Netflix 2 part Bio of Billy Joel is pretty good. Quite long but tells lots about his past and motivation for his spirited cutting lyrics. He had tons of personal issues but quite the accomplished musician and writer.

 

Bit of modern Turkish indie funk from a band I saw live last week. They were class, proper talented.

I wondering if You noticed it. Actually every song at the end of Aliens Earth has been great tunes.

 

Another live at the Aquarium of Mastodon. I have always wondered why most band don't use this multiple singers more??
