Yeah we don't want any fancy sports cars or hot girls in our neck of the woods! Oh wait, yes we do. We want lots of both of these things around here.

A college quarterback likes hot girls and fast cars?

Well, considering Brady and Mahomes have dominated SBs in the last 25 years it isn't surprising. Add in #1 picks usually end up on lousy teams.

    I may have misinterpreted this

I thought it was first round picks not over all #1

I do think experience at the college level carries a lot of weight. Mahomes 32 starts, Hurts 56, LJ 38, Both Mannings had over 40 college starts, and Tom Terrific had 29. Jayden Daniels had 55 college starts.

As I said in the post you quoted before, this set of rules is not the only criteria to use. You can add to it all the measurements you like. It's just a place to start. AND...QBs DO NOT have to have all of these criteria. So there are obviously more than just these 7 things to look at.

For instance, I agree with you on the wonderlic score. But this kinda goes in with earning your degree and graduating. If you show the ability to learn and are teachable. Why would Parcells care about what you get a degree in?

The Jags signed a UDFA QB out of Memphis, Seth Henigan. He is currently on the Jags PS.
    4yr Starter
    College Senior
Graduated with a degree in Business Management
    Started 50 games
    Won 34 games
    104TDs and 31INTs, better than 2:1 ratio
    64% Completion Rate

Obviously there is more to being an NFL QB than just these 7 rules. But, each of the 7 carry some weight to be measured.

Either way it’s still wrong which shouldn’t be surprising given the source. Eli manning was a #1 and won 2

    Thursday

Look -- the kid transferred out of Georgia. He flunked out of the starting qb job there and used the transfer portal .

Now he owns a Lamborghini and is said to go through women like nobody's business. A " south beach " king QB who is worth millions. A playboy type.

And I don’t care. I don’t care how many different ways you try to frame it, it will always be a nothingburger. The young man has millions, bought a fast car, and likes beautiful women and you’re hiding behind a computer clutching your pearls

Beck got injured last year in the SECCG and then he transferred, it didn't seem to affect his play against Notre Dame.

You will have to venture over to Reddit for that one. That is a copy and paste from a Reddit post.

Looking at the Past at first, I thought it was Eli Manning (2004), and then I remembered he was actually drafted by San Diego, and then the next QB on the list came from 1998 in Peyton Manning.
