Why is Connor Heyward still on this team? Seriously. Max Hurleman or Beanie Bishop would help us so much more.

 

I’ve never been a fan of meatball (Connor). I am surprised he made the roster this year.

 

I don’t think he would even make any other NFL team. 6’0” TE’s are really not in high demand. Cam must really be giving Tomlin some extra loving in order to keep his brother around. Truly a wasted roster spot.

You guys are confusing. It's Khan building the team but Tomlin keeping players you don't like/want? You guys are all over the place.

You had to disrespect Cam and Tomlin to get that point across?

 

I'm not a big fan of Connor, but I think he's receiving too much hate he's TE4 and played the most special team snaps.

 

Cams presence on the Steelers team has nearly everything to do with Connor Heyward being on this team. JMO.

 

I will back off a bit if we actually use him as a FB more than in the past. I just think Max Hurleman would have been better suited for this offense.

I'm not necessarily a 'FAN' of Connor, but he is a niche player. I posted his stats so you can see how he gets used. He's mainly a short yardage TE and a GL HB. He doesn't get on the field much otherwise. So, I really don't see his snap count going up this season much. Is his final year under contract, and likely his last as a Steeler. Unless he just becomes the new Heyward-bey. Or would that be Bey-Bey-Heyward?

 

Someone better send a heart specialist to Arkansas if this happens. Our friend STD might not survive this news.

But, Heyward is a good special teamer. He can play TE or FB. Also, forgotten is the fact that he's the Emergency RB if they dress 2 on a game day or 3.
If they all were to get hurt, he's playing RB.
He played RB at Michigan State for a while.

It's like Miles Killebrew, he's on the team for his exceptional Special team's ability, not a guy you want to have to play at safety, but if you have to, you have to.
You all aren't jumping up and down at Miles Killebrew still being on the team.

Killebrew has to be one of the best people I ever have seen at blocking punts, he as an extreme knack for it.

It actually may do with A. Rodgers. He has talked very highly of him, and about how he knows where to be, and when, and knows all his assignments , which I believe Rodgers then said is the moat important thing. I'm sure someone can find the interview.

Not a bad gig, but from what I have heard these guys earn those checks. Also in the instability is constant, get a call and you have to be in xxx tomorrow and ready to go, close to the dream but not quite there.
