Despite what some Hometown Steeler fans are saying, Skylar really is not ready to be an actual #2 QB anywhere right now. If the Steelers really wanted to find out about Skylar, they should have started him the last game. They could have easily sat Mason, because there was nothing left for Mason to prove and the backup QB job was always his.

 

Kent might be going to IR if rumors are true. Now it makes sense as Beanie is on the PS

 

I'm not sure there is anything to find out about Thompson. He's not good. They brought him in as a veteran camp arm and he likely would be out of a job right now if Howard hadn't gotten hurt.

 

For slot, I would think short shuttle and 3 cone would be more important.
