Some of those guys weren't here for long.

 

They cut the guy they signed to be an injury replacement for Kuntz? Does that mean Logan Lee sticks around as long snapper until Kuntz is ready?

 

It could also mean they know Kuntz will be healthy by week one.

It could also mean they're confident Quaide will clear waivers and they'll just sign him again as soon as he does clear waivers.

 

Good point but it does seem like a strange way of going about it given the number of IR slots teams have available.

 

I was listening to DK Pittsburgh sports the other day and the topic of kunz came up. Apparently Tomlin said he was fine and went on to say go ask him. He’s right there. Kunz just said I’m going to take a shower and walked away. Paraphrasing

 

That's so odd but yeah.

Rules about how long a player has to stay on IR. They're probably fine to do a shuffle on weeks 1-2 so they can get him back by week 3

At this point Beanie Bishop is a better option than Hilton.

 

I really liked Hilton when he was here, but he's not that player anymore. He'll catch on somewhere, but not here. We're already going to cut better CBs than him

Across the NFL, I figured a few names would pop up, but that's not really the case.
Teams are probably holding on till the last minute to see what trade values they can get.

Leal certainly got a lot of chances this year.

 

I haven't gone through the whole roster, but why not at least keep Leal around for depth? Anything can happen this year with injuries? Unless they think a guy off the street is better than him?

Leal might catch on with another team. Steelers did him a disservice trying to make him play both OLB and DE. Pick one and let him master his craft.

Kyle McCord who some on here touted as a first round QB got the boot from the Eagles today.

 

Yeah, I’m not saying Leal could have been or will be a great player, but never really having a true position, definitely hurt his chances. Maybe he’ll catch on somewhere…. He’s got good size and athleticism.

 

OT Dylan Cook was released.

 

He sucked at both.
