    Man what a bummer he was going to be a big part in helping out the run D. These preseason games are a catch 22. Try to get some experience and reps but the results don’t matter and an injury can always occur. UGH

    That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a torn ACL. I have had patients who walked in like they were fine and when I examined it there was still some laxity in the knee and the MRI confirmed. Torn.

    when have we ever seen a guy tear his acl, and return to the sideline later in street clothes acting as if nothing happened? if there was even any doubt from the team's medical staff, he wouldn't have been back on the sidelines, much less a preseason game

    ....and here's why I despise preseason games. No one will ever convince me they're useful for anything but padding owners' wallets. Everything coaches need to evaluate, they can do so in practice

    At least if a player gets hurt in a real game or even practice it was while trying to achieve something meaningful
