I don't know how Rogers works out as the season rolls on but damn, he has been a wealth of info and very beneficial.
His attitude is infectious too.... nothing but positive on those tangibles.
Hope it works as well in the W column.

I'm always all excited this time of the year. I used to go into season believing we'd win the SB. This year, I'm optimistic we will win a playoff game!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO...............

They have some older players which can turn on you quick and ruin your season but if they all stay healthy, I think they break the playoff drought.

So again, this can indeed happen....

Provided if the Offensive Line can play like a Top 10 Unit all season. The talent is surely there. The biggest test for this young group will be Broderick Jones.

So far so good for BroJo; doubly so from his 2024 Preseason Performance. Let us see if he can continue to keep this up tonight.

Offensive line and Aaron Rodgers will be the key if the steelers want to have a chance...The defense look great on paper but it also need to be the case on the field especially in december and january

Greenberg is all in on the Tomlin bizarro world. He says, "Mike Tomlin always overachieves. That's not an opinion, people. It's a fact.". Another fact is that Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in the last eight seasons. I guess you can say that Mike Tomlin overachieves in that the teams he puts together and coaches don't seem like 10 win teams, but he gets 10 wins. I would agree with that. I'd love to see that press conference. Mike Tomlin - "Obviously this team is undisciplined, poorly coached, and our game plan really didn't put them in a position to succeed, but I was encouraged by the way our guys battled through adversity and did enough to get the W."

Hard not to have a little optimism. Hoping Harmon news is positive as that was a bit deflating last night.

Offensive Line did hold up well enough in the Preseason; namely games one and two. That said, the real test shall begin September 7th against the New York Jets. New York possesses one of the best Front Sevens in all of Football; Quinnen Williams being the linchpin of it all. Jermaine Johnson and Will McDonald IV are a Top 10 EDGE Unit in Football as well. Most underrated acquisition though is in the form of Harrison Phillips; still one of the best run stuffing IDLs in the game.

Pittsburgh did a great job against the ones for both Jacksonville and Tampa Bay; Defenses with similar Front Seven Talent and overall caliber. However, battling a Top 10 Unit for a full game?! That is where the real challenge begins.

Biggest X Factor though is still Broderick Jones. Time to find out if his rock solid Preseason Performance can transition into the Regular Season.

Deflating is one way of putting it.

For me, it was devastating when that news broke out.

Happy to know that it wasn't too serious though the Official MRI Today will be even more paramount.

I have never gotten the negativity. You will win the same games if You are negative, or positive. The difference is, you will be happier untill the last game is won, or lost. Although I can always pick out those negative people in the crowd. They are the ones that look like if they were happy, their faces would break apart.

I think they can win 9 or maybe 10 games this year if A Rodg doesn’t get hurt. If he does get hurt I think they will win 9 or 10 games this year as well.

I do like the cautiously optimistic approach though. Basically I’ll wait to see if they are god or bad then I’ll let everyone know if they are good or bad at that point.

Yes this could be the year we go deep into the playoffs , so I will be optimistic and expect the best . Hope this is the year us geezers still have reason to keep optimistic all season . Been too long and we may not get many more seasons . So when we post and disagree lets not be disagreeable , we are Steeler Fans and Steeler Nation . May The Lord smile upon us and help when needed.
