Family and friends fun

I've done this to about 30 people and it works 99% of the time. You will tell the person to do what you say but don't let them tell you their answer. They may want a pen and paper. OK: Tell them too-----

Pick a number between 1-10. (let's say 8) Now multiply that number by 9. (72) Now add those 2 numbers together. (7 + 2 = 9) Now subtract 5 from that. (4)

(Guessing you smarter ones figured out it would always be 4 regardless what number you picked. My wife showed me, I'm not that smart)

Now tell them to assign a letter to that number. (a = 1 / b = 2 / c = 3 / Z = 26 / etc. So are number is 4 so that is D.

Now say to them, pick a country that starts with the letter they came up with. (saying in Europe helps to make it easy for people. ) 99% of people say Denmark. (I had a guy use Djibouti)

Now tell them to pick an animal that starts with the LAST letter of the country they picked. 99% of people say Kangaroo. ( if they say Koala joke won't work)

Lastly, tell them to pick a fruit that starts with the LAST letter of the animal they picked. All have said Orange I've done this to.

Now have fun with them. I do something like this depending on person: You are an idiot, why would you try and take a Kangaroo to Denmark to buy an Orange

Oh i would just have them keep assigning a number to the letter and wonder why they would do the entire alphabet.

then have them repeat that step as I went and broke down a bale into dimes
