    Good thing Dick Trickle went into auto racing instead of football. They'd be quite a twosome. :drinks:

    The Steelers were perennial losers but that all changed when Franco was drafted in 1972.

    Clendon Thomas might have been the last Steeler to play both offense and defense. In 1964 he made the Pro Bowl for picking off 8 passes as a DB and he caught 17 passes for over 300 yards at WR.

    After football Brady Keys became a franchise owner of several Burger King and KFC restaurants. He coined the phrase "Have it your way" for Burger King. He was so successful at business that he became one of President Nixon's economic advisors.

    I remember reading about him and his post NFL success. That's incredible especially since NFL players really didn't make all that much back in the days vs today's pro sports salaries, even minimums. :thumbs_up:
