In round 2 at our pick just for a scenario and a what if....what if Keenan Allen and Matt Elam are both sitting there, who do we take?

I'm cautiously optimistic with Jones. I wonder if San Fran wanted to trade with us?

i'd take Elam but that's only because i've seen his name come up more in mock drafts.

    I absolutely hate our pick.

You won't say that once he starts getting sacks for the Steelers.

What happens when Worlids has 10+ sacks next year?

We just drafted another back up for multiple years, just like Ziggy and Heyward.

I guess I'm ok with this pick. I just hope they let him play with more freedom,it seems all our OLBs do is bull rush I don't think that is his style. They need to let him just play his own way.

the only question i have is

in our system does he see the field year one. It took James Harrison how long??

Still love the pick. The only OLB that i felt had the right build for starting on 3 downs not just a nickel rusher like mingo or jordan

He was a FA signing, not a first round pick and their earliest since Big Ben. I hope he turns out great, but we need to evolve and improve our O with this new NFL...don't see how this helps us.

Jones will see the field a lot from day one! He won't sit and watch for the first yearfirst year

Am I missing something? Why do our picks always get screwed up on draft day? They get backed up, go to a commercial, wait for interviews- it took like 15 minutes to get the pick announced. Then they couldn't wait to talk about the 49'ers trade. Was Jones even in New York? They didn't show him there getting his jersey or didn't show him at home either.

    Has yet to be seen.

Jones was too big of a reach to me, I'd have done just about anything other than take him in the first.

I had a gut feeling it would be Jones.

I wonder if SF tried to trade with us and the Steelers said no...as moving down THAT many places and only picking up a 3rd?? That wouldn't have been worth it I dont think. Oh well.

Welcome aboard Jarvis...now kick some ass!

This pick may indicate the Sean Spence won't be back?

Then we will just be in the same position of need again? After only one year. Where is the foresight by the FO?

Jarvis Jones is an OLB. Spence is an ILB. They do not effect each other.
