I was rooting for him but to screw up a 3 year, $2,995,000 contract for a bday party takes a special kind of stupid.

 

I caught that one as well, it has some rehash of news from the first few days about short passing game and not clicking with guys. I have been less impressed with the publication lately so I think I will wait and see a vanilla preseason game to see how things look when guys are kinda trying.

 

I'd hope it was a relatives party but that is really stupid if its just a buddy. Hell he will have a bday again in a year.

I saw it briefly this morning on the internet. Haven’t had time to search more for it. Hope I’m wrong but the story said Omar Kahn said that leaving camp and breaking curfew was against the rules and doesn’t live up to the Steelers standard. Maybe he is begging for his job back or maybe I’ve been misinformed.

 

His birthday is august 31

 

The depth chart has 3 TEs listed as starters

It also has 13 starters

I do find it interesting they list Darnell Washington as a starter

Although I think there is a typo here

One of the YT reporters said he had a very good day, as did most of the O, all of the first team D backs were out, but they looked better. LOL

 

Yea, Roman shined today. And Broderick had his best day of camp, racking up 3 straight solid performances, perhaps the light finally turned on for him; I guess we'll find out when Highsmith comes back.

 

Well, there's a starting FB and that position will get very seldomly used. The other one is obviously the TE thing.... I think it signals more towards viewing Darnell as the starting "blocking" TE and the other two splitting time as the "pass catching" TE. I'd imagine that in most sets Muth is the TE1, then we will get Smith involved in two TE sets or split out in the slot. Washington will get his fair share of time in two TE sets to give us a bit more of a running threat. Just my opinion of course. Might be reading into something that isn't there.

 

He is listed as #5 on the WR depth chart now. DK, Calvin Austin, Robert Woods, Scotty Miller, Roman Wilson. Not sure where he should be, but I would have hoped he would be a #3.

 

Lots of time still , for everyone before we see what's really what.

JEH, I think you are the only one who is speaking highly of Wilson. All the reporters actually at camp have nothing good to say about Roman Wilson.
