I have two machines in my basement

Drop A Card from 1971 and Top Score from 1975

Anyone who dropped a nickel in a machine back in that time period probably plaid both of them

    They still work

That’s what my barn with an aluminum roof sounds like when the acorns start falling on it

Just look at average fastball speeds. In the '80s they could touch 90 MPH, but it was still rare, averages were mid-'80s. In 2000 the average was around 90. By 2023 it was 94, and today most throw over 95 and we've got some starters regularly exceeding 98.

Tommy John surgeries started in '74, and 12 were performed over the next 20 years. That jumped to 22 between 1995 and '99; and 194 from 2000 to 2011. By 2022, 94 were performed in a single year.

Ever watch a slow motion of a pitcher throwing the ball? Crazy torque on the arm. I’d like to see a slow mo comparison between today’s pitchers and the 70’s.

LOL. Yeah as long as they don't have to treat anyone. :)
