According to google.... Ben is not eligible until 2027. Brady... 2028. I thought it was five years... and he would eligible next year since retiring after '21..... but it's 5 seasons.

 

5 All pro and 9 Probowls. He played for 11 years. This means he was one of the best of the best for a decade.

Agree, per this site everyone ranked above him except Kelce is already in, only one guy ranked below. He is ranked similar to Jeff Saturday. If I understand it right, per the site, he is a weak candidate in the modern-era despite being in the top 10. Only 2 first team all pro hurts

I don't put much weight on pro bowls. Guys get picked and have no interest in the game. Too much on popularity. All pro is different. Far fewer slots and voters that actually have some knowledge.

 

He definitely not over rated he wasn’t a good center, he was a great center and that exactly what he was drafted to do. But HOF? That goes from great to legendary or it should be that way. He’ll have a hard time getting in there if ever.

 

Pounce was really good, but I don't know if I could put him on the level of Dirt Dawson.

Pounce always struggled agains the top tier DT's in the league.

If Pouncey gets voted in, he should pass up his place to LC Greenwood.

Pouncey will probably get in at sometime.

Sorry you might disagree but its a travesty that Hines Ward is not in yet.

There are receivers that may have gaudy numbers but Ward played in 2 Super Bowls and the last I checked has a Super Bowl MVP and 2 rings.

1000 receptions for 12,083 yards and 85 touchdowns. Oh and 428 rushing yards.

Started his career where it was definitely run run and run again. Was a hell of a blocker but much more then that.

The complete wide receiver and he should have already had his day...

To my knowledge, Marcus Allen (the USC version) and Tony Dorsett are the only two players to win a College FB Championship, the Heisman, are in the NCAA FB HOF, have a Super Bowl Ring and are in the NFL HOF. Anyone else you can think of?
