Winning/losing for the under-talented/stocked Bucs is simply a matter of timing (as I previously hypothesized). The White Sox came out of the ASG break red hot for the first and only time this year. Then the Bucs drubbed the Tigers, D Backs and now SF, all of whom were red hot not so long ago. While luck is supposed to be preparation meeting opportunity, timing may play even a bigger role as far as sports is concerned. Especially for a sorry a$$ organization.

 

Free games on MLB.com again today. 12:45 pm start out west. Rumor has it KB Hayes is heading to Reds for some prospects? Great glove, but not the 3B bat this team needs. Pham found the fountain of youth? Or PEDs?

He be gone. 7 million so Nutbag had to salary dump him. He is great fielder but that back problem will hinder him going forward. Bucs play Reds soon.

 

MLB is kind lately with the free games. There is no doubt in my mind if the Bucs were a decent team most in this thread would pay to watch them. Not to much money. Heck, Xfinity is under a hundred for rest of season.

We thought that too with the Pale Hose at home. But, Bucs did help contribute to the Giant's franchise losing 6 in a row at their home field for 1st time since 1896 - 130 years!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. Not sure what's more impressive - Bucs beating them 3 in a row or that G men haven't lost 6 straight at home over that long of a stretch.

 

My Lady tells me that daily. I think it's her memory. She says it's my hearing. I'm pretty sure she's right.

 

I got a good feeling we are going to tie or break our season long winning streak. Heaney tonight against a guy who is 4-14. Skenes tomorrow against a guy who is 0-5 with a huge ERA. Then Keller.

 

There ya go...jinxing them against the worst team in the game. If they get swept or drop 2 of 3, it's on you!

 

Listening to Derek Shelton on MLB this morning.
How did this guy ever get through the interview process for managing an MLB team? I haven't been able to see any logic in what he is talking about with Steve Phillips.

Heaney has a 3.4 something era vs Colorado. So if he does average and the Bucs score 4 runs, they win. But will we get the Lumber Company or the Toothpick Company?
