It's a good thing the Steelers traded him let Miami overpay for him.

Minkah is after a new contract with the Dolphins. Might have been a factor for this trade if the Steelers knew/guessed that this was coming.

Reports say Jalen Ramsey looking like a true CB #1 in the 1st week of camp!

All those people trying to move Jalen to Safety, better slow their roll. :)

If this secondary holds up and works to plan, this defense will be historically good.

Actually just the opposite is true

Because of his ability he will play outside , nickle and safety

Kinda what I'm thinking. If everything works out as planned, and no injuries, I believe you will see Him everywhere.
Also @Born2Steel@Born2Steel I totally agree, if there are no major injuries, we could be special on D.

I did not like or hate the trade at the start but more I think about that, more I like this trade.I think Ramsey is still a very good corner and the addition of Smith as TE is also good

i like it primarily due to getting Smith. Minkah contract was a problem. Ramsey has been a problem child, too - i know that.

Loved Minkah as a person, but I said 25 times last year, he better be looking over this shoulder.......

The addition of Smith could be important for the steelers in the passing game since they are thin at the WR position

I said this when the trade happened the Steelers basically got two starters for an overpaid safety, who wasn't making splash plays anymore I like Minkah but his play wasn't commensurate with his salary.

The only concern for me,this is the salary of Ramsey...He need to play at a high level

Have you even been listening to the training camp reports? Ramsey is the best DB on this team,so they are not going to try to hide him in coverage. Ramsey will be front and center guarding WR #1.

I don't see Ramsey playing slot corner, and definitely not Safety. He is still one of the best shutdown CB's in the league!!!

safety, likely not but as slot corner, this is possible if the best receiver from the other team is a TE or is in the slot

I don't think Ramsey is CB1 shutdown CB anymore at his age, but if they move him around he can blitz and has pretty good hands.

I think Porter Jr will cover the WR1, Ramsey has lost a step but he can still play unlike a Patrick Peterson with the Steelers.

This is Slay that I fear he is at the Peterson level!

I still expect better that Peterson since this is not that hard to be better than that but this is something to watch at 34-35 years old for him now

Apparently you aren’t listening to the training camp reports

    Try to keep up

    You are wrong again

See my post above this response

It would be in your best interest in the future to just assume I am correct

You also need to admit you were wrong when you said 2-3 week ago that Roethlisberger had never take the blame after a bad game in his career!
