wrong? bishop's 4 interceptions were the most by a steeler UDFA and top 9th in NFL history since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. he played in game one and was a starter in game 3. voted NFL rookie of the month in October. to say he didn't play well last year is wrong. 45 tackles. 4 interceptions. 1 fumble recovery. 2 tackles for loss. .5 sack. played 548 defensive plays and 175 special teams plays. those are pretty darn good numbers for an undrafted free agent or any rookie DB.

    I just want to Roc

Steelers rookie wide receiver Roc Taylor came on strong Sunday for the first time in training. A hyped-up undrafted free agent wide receiver out of Memphis, Taylor stepped up after an injury to Montana Lemonious-Craig.

Taylor made three separate catches on dig routes over the middle of the field throughout the practice. He weaved through traffic on one play and made a great hands catch on a pass thrown high and outside of his frame.

A big-bodied wide receiver, Taylor looks like the type of player who could make some real noise with more opportunities.

sounds like he opened a few eyes to me so far strummer. this is what undrafted guys hope to do and what the steelers picked them to see. these are the guys you better stash away for safe keeping for down the road. upside. it's not always about right now or this year. these are guys you want to keep around incase. if not some other team will.

this says a lot about the kid.

    https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=0269...d3Mvcm9va2llLXJlY2FwLWJlYW5pZS1iaXNob3A&ntb=1

not sure if he makes it or not but someone will take the kid if we don't which i think will be a mistake. he's got confidence in himself and talks about working hard to get that confidence. those are the guys that succeed in the league.

You are bitching bull**** just for the sake of bitching

Meyer had 3 rookies start last year and one the year before

There was a time when an OL didn’t see the field until their third year

This years camp darling. I’m hoping he can claim the 4th spot, got potential. Going to be tough pushing Heyward out the door with his ST contributions and big brother on the team.

So I had a blonde moment. I didn't realize nate wasn't on the Steelers anymore. And when I saw he retired today, I thought it was sad he did it after the draft. But now I dont care, because he was on the redskins.

Steelers sign 3, including former college national rushing leader Lew Nichols

A running back who once led the nation in rushing as a young college player was among three players signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday.

Lew Nichols, who had 1,710 rushing yards in 2021 while playing for Central Michigan, joined the Steelers a week after he was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles. The 5-foot-10, 220-pound Nichols has yet to appear in an NFL game since the Green Bay Packers made him a seventh-round pick in 2023.

Also signed Tuesday were defensive tackle Domenique Davis and tight end Kevin Foelsch.

Davis, a 29-year-old former Division II college player, has two NFL regular-season games of experience. The 6-2, 326-pounder is back after he spent the past eight months with the Steelers before his July 25 release.

Foelsch also played at the D-II level — totaling 16 touchdown receptions at New Haven — and has bounced around five NFL organizations but has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

The new trio takes the roster spots of Cordarrelle Patterson, Montana Lemonious-Craig and Jeremiah Moon.

He needs his very own category. I am not talking the short bus either......more of a 'padded helmet, walks to school while wearing 2 left shoes and a pair of knee high socks with sponge bob on them' category.
