Dave's doesnt seem too bad at all. While I'm not all for another OL in the first...I could live with it. I really like the rest of his draft too...and if they can still pickup a QB as UDFA...I'd be sold!

Chris' isnt bad...but seems less realistic and I'm not as excited about some of the later round picks he has...but I could live with it also.

    Thoughts?

I for one would love it if Cooper would be there. Obviously I'm biased, but having watched him the last few years, the kid is just a beast. Plug him in and assuming Decastro comes back strong and our o-line could be very very good for a long time. It would make our average running backs look a little bit better and potentially keep Ben from being beat up or missing his usual couple of games with injury this year.

I'd be happy if Cooper was there, though I don't foresee him being the Steelers 1st round pick. Cooper is the number 1 G for a ZBS IMO.

I think this is the first mock draft I've seen where someone listed 63 alternates...

Heck yeah man. Decastro, Pouncey, Cooper, and Adams are all above average blockers. With that line Redman and Dwyer could have 1000 yards each.

Warmack would be just as good. Okay, he might not pull, but that guy does not budge one iota. Fricken stout!!!!!!!

All these mocks want to draft Mauti...I just don't see him making the roster here except for a special teams ace, and even that seems iffy to me.

Warmack is a beast but not athletic enough to fit our new zone blocking scheme but then again none of our TVs do either lol.

If Cooper is there we take him but I think we take Vaccaro. Either would be a welcome addition to Steeler Nation.

I'm confused. What kind of blocking scheme will we be utilizing? What's our new Oline coach preaching? I always thought Haley was a man-power offense?

You can be a power offense with zone blocking.

True but they would all want big bank around the same time. this is whats hurting the Steelers. we sit them for 2-3years and then the play one lights out and then we can't afford them

In today's nfl they need to stop with this wait until they have one year left and start signing guys two years out

i wouldnt mind seeing them get Robert Woods, but im a getting a little worried about the skilled position players that have been coming out of USC lately. he would be a great 3rd round pick, but there is no way he drops that far.

I agree. And maybe, on occasion, negotiate a contract during the season.
