Lets remember folks that Bags Tomlin was only a defensive coordinator for one Season before he was hired! He has been absent from any innovation and instead deploys an archaic scheme since the great Coach LeBeau resigned. And they keep spending and spending on the defensive side of the ball and will again be the highest paid defense in the league for 2025 season. Its 55.4% vs 36% for the offense.

So all that money to the highest paid defense to get shelled in the playoffs when they get there. Good times!

If Tomlin is doing all the D, all of it. How is it that our play calls, what we run, and what we do on Defense has changed from DC to DC that we have hired???

I have to ask you mean the defensive scheme that had to overcome Ben's two gift turnovers that resulted in 14 point deficit before the 1st quarter was over? The game that saw the Steelers completely abandon what their identity was that year in running the football in favor of Ben and his enabler Arians plan to get Ben his first SB MVP title by passing against one of the strongest pass defenses in the SB as opposed to the worst rush defense in SB history. The game which most fans blame the loss on Mendenhall's fumble instead of Tomlin, BA, and Ben trying to be cute. Now it Lebeau's fault for his scheme not shutting down Rodgers? I'll admit my memory isn't what it used to be but the defense kept it from being a rout until the brain trust removed head from butt and ran the ball.
