Yeah they're all in. Specially with signing Watt to that huge salary and bringing AR and the other vets. Anything less than reaching the AFCCG is a disappointment. one lousy WC playoff win? Not enough.

i get you, but its been so long since we won a playoff game that an AFCCG appearance would be fantastic.

10 years ago my expectations were higher of course.

They are not all in this season not remotely

They seem to be doing an excellent job of building a good team for this year and the future

If they were all in they would not have stockpiled draft choices for next year they would use them all in now (a WR2 for example)

They are building for the future while trying to be competitive now

All these vets brought in looks good on paper but I don't buy it. It will be week 8 before everyone gets on the same page. 7-10 is my prediction.

I get it. That's just not me. I find things to call a success each season. One season it was we don't have to deal with Canada anymore. Success!

theyre trying to win now, i.e. a chance of a real playoff run. AR came for a shot at a SB.

I think part of the reason the Steelers have been a pretty good team as they focus on doing what they can to win every year without mortgaging the future.

See post about 10 above it explains it well

yeah so is Mason. But theres a difference in the steelers intention between sticking with Mason and going after AR and getting all those vets and signing a 31 year on TJ to big money. They are serious about making some noise in the post season this year. More so than last year. I think the clock is ticking on a number of people (like Tomlin) and they know it

    I’m saying the same thing

I’n just saying they aren’t all in or they would use up the stockpile of draft picks to get talent now and the didn’t

They are still trying to build for the future as well

And TJ signing is irrelevant that was happening no matter what

TJ is past his prime. That was a short term move.

They got two starters in Jonnu and Ramsey without giving up a draft pick in 2026, that's a really good job by Khan.

Look at his age and injury history not the length of the contract. Hes got maybe one or two good years left.

That contract seems more like publicity move.
