He knows this. They watched him play 1st hand, they know what He can do, and can't do.
You will see how they use this against him. Like when we played T. Edmunds in Tennessee, they went right at him every time they needed a big play.

    LoL
He ran it 362 times in Chicago in less than 3 years.
And he ran it 62 times in Pittsburgh , and he only started 6 games. That's more average running a game than Jaylen Warren had last year. Do you want him to be a Qb, or a Rb???

Problem in Chicago,he had a very poor coaching staff....Fields is at his best when he is use as a dual threat

Is that even accurate? Doesn’t seem right. They win 10 games most season and not enough playoff games to drag the record down.

And how many head coaches would even be over .500 with those QBs during that time period?

Not many but I want a full rebuilding since 2022 at least to be much better after that,so I don't think the current strategy of the steelers is good right now. They are the second oldest team in the NFL right now, this is not a problem if the team would be a true super bowl contender but when this is not the case, this is a concern....

Yes our QB position is weak since 2019 but before that, the steelers had not much success in the playoffs too. They need a complete overhaul in scheme on both side of the ball

And not many would replace Fields to a washed QB last season. It was unlikely the steelers would compete for the super bowl last season,so it would been one more good reason to see if Fields would been our future at this position

I have faith in the way Khan and Weidl are building the team.

Has it ever went through You, and all the Fields lovers heads that with all the game footage of Fields in Chicago, and then having him right here , they could see everything about him, and Him playing every preseason game, and 6 starts here.....they seen everything they wanted to see??? Why is this so difficult for some? There is a real reason they didn't offer Him more, they could have easily if they desired to, but with everything they seen, they said nah....you aren't worth all that.

What was the timeline between the beginning of the league year and the 1st mutterings about Rodgers? My personal opinion is that the FO didn't so much not offer him a contract as it was the situation mirroring the one he just went through. A vet QB in front of him vs potential starter in Ny

I don't care what he did in Chicago,he was in such bad situation...Khan wanted also Fields back and I believe he would been back if he would stay as starter

You can watch a movie as many times as you want but the plot is the same every time

Two teams, myself and most people saw enough of Fields to know he doesn’t have it

And you don’t offer 30 million, 20 guaranteed to a BU.

Fields not being the starter last year wasn't the reason he left the Jets offered more guaranteed money.

So why didn't they offer more money than the Jets did??? As You can see , they weren't broke. Tell me what will You, and all the Fields lovers say when He is not great this year, or do You already have Your goal post revved up to move, and tell us how now it's the Jets fault??

I honestly don't know, but I can't remember there not being mutterings of Rodgers here.
