Colbert: 6 to 8 elite players in the draft.

Which means unless we luck out like last year and one falls to us, we won't get one. But he said it's a deep pool and that there will be a good player at 17. Also said they are unlikely to move up, thinks its better to have more picks in this draft class.

Well, he's got more than I do.

I see 5 elite players. Joeckel, Fisher, Floyd, Lotulelei & Jones. I think Joeckle & Fisher are pro bowl calibre LTs. I think Floyd will be an incredibly disruptive 3 technique. I do see Lotulelei as a Haloti Ngata type of versatile player. I ultimately think Jones will be the best pass rusher to come out of this class. Even Lotulelei & Jones have question marks, but will still be future pro bowlers.

As I've said before, the top end talent of this draft is disappointing. You can go up and down the list and find serious flaws and question marks with just about every player outside the Top 3.

 

I think they do GP, at least thats what I came away with, sounds like all the teams determine who the best are and they are on everyones radar. Then there are the grey area ones where opinions are more likely to vary. But the best of the best, I'm pretty sure all the teams can figure out who those are.

 

I think 1 of them will definitely be there at #17, but I just can't see us going back to back Guards in the first round.
