It won't be the last shocker for you. But they're isn't too many.

I put in an episode at random last night. "Under color of Authority." I remembered the episode well. What i didn't remember was that the Immortal bounty hunter, Mako, was played by Jonathan Banks! Mike from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. (and my favorite character from both shows)

So he's the latest in seeing actors i know well now but we're complete unknowns when they did Highlander (not counting rock stars or stunt castings like Marc Singer and Rowdy Roddy Piper).

Jason Isaacs - Colonel Tavington from The Patriot and Lucious Malfoy from Harry Potter movies - was in an early episode with Amanda.

Anthony Head from Buffy and Marion Coltillard were in the same season 1episode where Duncan is trying to protect an ambassadors son from an Immortal hell bent in killing the sin because he raped his teenage daughter (Cotillard). Marion went on the have an impressive career for herself winning an Oscar for best actress. You probably know her best for playing Talia Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises.

I wonder who else I might notice going forward.

Yeah that was the episode with Richie taking his 1st head I believe.
I also was like, look it's Giles from Buffy, when Anthony Head was in it.
I just couldn't believe Daltrey got His head taken. LoL

I was watching a few 1989 Twilight Zone shows this weekend( I was too out of it to grab the remote, and change it), and noticed that Grateful Dead did the intro tune, and that George R. R. Martin was the story editor on all of them. Things I didn't know when I watched them originally.

Didn't even know there was a 1989 TZ version. My viewing predates that by about 30 years. I was just a kid but Jeh was already courting retirement. :smiley1:

I know a lot of people here already mentioned this, but I started Squid Game last week and finished season 1 today. It was....OK? It kept my attention, but it wasn't astounding. I'll probably wait a bit and give season 2 a try.

Seasons 2 and 2.5 follow similar lines but the intensity and bizarre tasks gain intensity. Just watched the movie Jurassic Games last night that somewhat follows Squid Games but with VR dinos as the killers. Pretty lame movie overall but interesting in concept.

I hated that. Kalas was a great bad guy, probably Duncans biggest foe.

:lolol: Impossible, his nose isn’t nearly as big as Brody’s!

The 4 Horseman was one of my favorite storylines. Methos: “I was death on a horse” such a great line.

The dark quickening was another favorite, evil Duncan was a bad ass.

Peter Wingfield is now a doctor. He's a board certified anesthesiologist. Imagine going into surgery and METHOS is going to knock you out.

    What!!!!! LoL.
Yeah not there yet. I said I've seen some here , and there, but I was hardly home at the time to catch them all, but the farther I get into it, the less I've seen. Like the episode I watched this morning when I got home.....the one with the Nazi that the priest had killed when he was a child. That was a great episode, when he showed up, and held the chains, and said he had been in those in the river for 40 years , I was like wow.
They really should start another series now, with today's technology. The whole show , and movies were a great Idea.
I only have one problem that always goes through my head. Surely someone is looking for a mass murder serial killer that is taking heads. Duncan takes a head almost every episode, where could he be hiding all the bodies, and why isn't anyone looking into this. Hell Dexter would have been hunting him down. LoL

    They're rebooting the movie series.

Henry Cavill is playing McLeod (not sure I'm sold on that. We know he can do spectacular swordplay. But the guy is a chiseled Greek god. It would be hard to convince us he's an underdog). Not sure if he'll be named Connor, Duncan, or someone new.

Russell Crow will be playing the mentor role. Unclear if that means he'll be Ramirez.

There was a rumor Dave Batista was playing the Kurgan. Not sure if that has been confirmed. And again, I'm not sure if like the casting. He's lost a considerable amount of weight lately and I'm pretty sure Cavill is also taller than he is. I like him as an actor. I'm just not sure he's right in this instance.

And it's supposed to be the first movie in a trilogy or series of movies. (Probably trilogy. Cavill is reaching the age where he'll start showing it)

Sounds good to me. Its hard for me to forget that the 1st movie I seen Henry Cavill in was 2005 Hellraiser : I believe it was called Hell World, or something of the sort 20 years ago. LoL
