RIP Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco. Some of you old timers will remember him by his stage name Lou Christie. He was a Pittsburgh product. Had a slew of global hits in the 60's into the 70's. Had a crazy 4 octave range long before Ah Ha and Freddie. His song Rhapsody in the Rain was banned on many AM radio stations before a tamed down re-recorded version was released. Today somewhere - The Gypsy Cried.

    RIP Bobby.

No offence but I hated him like I hated all the boys my sisters swooned over. Stupid girls;)

RIP - Mission Impossible Theme writer Lalo Shifrin. Lived till the ripe age of 92. The article below is an interesting read about him and how the same tune evolved/adapted from TV to the big screen by various composers. Probably the best ever TV theme and if it hadn't been first on TV, would be one of the greatest movie themes (well right behind Good, Bad, and the Ugly - LOL). Well done Sir!

I wonder if those awful Mission Impossible movies* with Tom Cruise lead to his demise.

    * If you enjoyed them, sorry.

RIP Cletus Hogg of Dukes of Hazzard. AKA Richard Hurst. Age 79. He had the fortune to star along Daisy Duke. She destroyed me.

Catherine Bach story: She was a Hollywood Square. One of the contestants was the current centerfold of Playgirl Magazine. Needless to say he was quite full of himself. He wanted her to notice so so bad that he picked her square every chance he got even if it made no sense. I fell more in love with her that day cause she snubbed his ass so beautifully. Ringo was proud;)

I liked the TV cast better. I remember reading that the TV cast attended the premier of MI 1 and they all walked out halfway through it in disgust for the character plot twist. Other than that the other sequels were entertaining but I still liked the TV version, especially for the music.

Bobby Sherman was the 1960's version of Taylor Swift. Can you imagine how much $$$ he'd make today with the same management and marketing? Then again, he doesn't check any of the boxes so it wouldn't happen and he'd never make it on a SB halftime show.

RIP Rebekah Del Rio. Not exactly a household name but her very chilling rendition of Roy Orbison's hit song Crying (Llorando en Espanol) in David Lynch's very quirky movie Mulhulland Drive was quite stirring. Gal could sing. :applaud:
