Last summer my aunt that lives in Oregon was complaining about 88 degrees. Aunt Marie do you know who you’re talking to and where I live?

I pay someone to mow 3 acres and I mow 24 more on occasion

I’m going to continue until I’m dead

If I moved into a senior community I’d probably knock myself off

But I don’t play golf and my property is my hobby

As I get older I just hire more help

 

Most my non golfing friends have gardens in their yard for things to do. They will putter around all day in them but most still hire someone to cut their grass.

 

That's like My Brother, he moved to Boston awhile back, and he said it's comical how they start complaining as soon as it hits the 80s.

 

I seriously dislike having to do it. When I'm doing it, I can think of 500 other things I'd rather be doing.

 

I was vehemently opposed to my parents moving into a retirement community. Now I’m like thank dog yall moved into a retirement community. What am I going to do with my 96 year old mother with althzeimers

My sister moved to New Hampshire and every now and then she will start to complain about the heat to me and then suddenly change subjects

 

My wife and I don’t have any kids and I envision one day we will be wandering around out here alone and just die

If one or the other gets in bad shape we have already made plans on how to get to the end

Until then we are having fun

The difference is you do it as work and I do it just to make my world look nice

You can’t just blow it off ( I assume) and if don't feel like doing it for a month or until next year I can

Although I will say riding on a tractor with a bush hog is boring as all crap it’s not like a riding mower where you can drink a beer while you do it

I had two local farmer friends who during the same week had accidents mowing one is permanently mangled the other dead

 

Morbid thoughts My Man. Let hope that's a very long time from now.

 

It can be dangerous. I know/knew a guy who drowned bush/brush hogging.

 

It’s not on the agenda at the moment

But it’s not morbid to plan ahead even if way ahead
