Well you are always arguing against a post that says the same thing. Hopefully this reply earns you the dollar you are looking for

I recently had the YouTube algorithm suggest a 2015 Broncos vs Steelers game in its entirety. It was an amazing game to rematch because it showed what doing what we do looks like in all it's glory and then what it looks like to change at halftime. This was the game where Ben was red hot on offense going against a league leading Broncos defense who were playing without both starting safeties. Brock Oswielier and Sanders looked like all pros and jumped out to a 3 TD lead and the defense cooled down Ben. The Steelers defense just kept doing the same thing over and over until halftime when they tightened it up. Haley took the cuffs of Ben and they moved AB all over the field and he had a record night.

It was frustrating and yet satisfying to watch what can happen when they adapt.

    Good info!

Both side of the ball deserve blame for the poor time of possession at the end of the year but in the game against the eagles, the steelers offense had only 2 drives in the second half because the defense could not leave the field!

Oh noes whatever will we do? A team that’s rebuilding with a one year flyer on a washed up quarterback got beat by the Super Bowl champions. Will the nightmare ever end?

What about the 4 other games after that one?

For the rebuilding, the steelers are always in between since several years.Half rebuilding, half all-in=stuck in the middle

Pretty well documented the Haley hire was pushed by Rooney. Tomlin even told Arians he’d be back and then pivoted to Haley.

Smith is the first established OC since Haley. Gee Strummer, do you think maybe Tomlin thought he might have to do something different or maybe was even directed to bring in someone whos been successful at the NFL level.

You mean to the 2nd place chiefs and the ravens? Why is it so hard to get through your skull Colbert started the rebuild? He missed a bunch in the process. Kahn came in and has basically started over. Soryy if that doesn’t mesh with your madden timeline, but that’s how it goes. Now runoff and post another article about how bad the Steelers suck

Sorry,a good rebuilding don't take 5 years in the NFL...It take 3-4 years max before you can contend if the front office is very good if you look at the entire NFL.Of course a half rebuilding like the steelers is way longer and it can take forever

No. It isn’t well documented AR2 hired Haley. That’s just another myth yall love to spread. He has said himself Tomlin hired Haley and Caldwell was also a finalist.

If you look at the entire NFL in the last 10-15 years at least you will understand....It don't take 5 draft to become a great team if your front office is very good....Just 3 very good draft and your team is solid and can contend and you just need to continue your good work after that!...I can name several example of that since 2010 at least....

Again. Colbert started a rebuild and Kahn started over. It should be blatantly obvious to you, but you refuse to acknowledge it. Additionally, there is no rule as to how long it takes. Everything has to work out in the general manager’s favor. No major injuries. No players acting the fool…

Actually it is you just don’t believe it. From Arians own lips, he was told his job was to safe and then they went with Haley. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what happened.

Arians had some major flaws in his approach particularly inside of the 20

At the end of the season he was very arrogant at a press conference when asked about making adjustments and he basically said he was going to do things his way and no one was going to tell him what to do

At that instant I knew he was and should be toast

    And he was

Now was it Tomlin or AR2 or both I don’t know but mostly it was Arians being arrogant

There is no half rebuild. It’s just one more thing you made up to ***** and moan again. There is no one way to rebuild a team. You don’t have to blow everything up or got 3-14 for a few years.

No but the defense is still one of the oldest defense in the league and they will have the oldest QB in the league in 2025.To be a strong contender, the team need to be great at the same time on both side of the ball and if the offense become very good in 2-3 years, the defense will be too old at that time

They need a complete rebuilding and fast or they will be stay stuck in the middle

Team who had a new front office like the seahawks in 2010,had a true rebuilding and changing the entire roster in the first 2 seasons and become a true contender in their 3rd year, almost make the nfc title game in 2012,win the super bowl in 2013

Buffalo had their new front office in 2017,change the entire roster too and become a contender in their fourth year

Several other example like the 49ers,lions,etc but this is possible to have a rebuilding very fast if you take a step back one year or 2 and change the entire roster....team like Seattle and Buffalo did not need to have awful season to become contender
