This is by far my biggest frustraction about the steelers defense...same defense every year

Kimo was our starting NT before Hampton took over well after the start of the season. Kimo was moved to de afterwards. I know I said correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m not

Where did he play the rest of his career after one year at NT with us??? Hell I don't even remember him playing NT but it shows he did.

That's all I remember him playing, I had to look it up to even see He did play NT his 1st year with us. Somehow I thought we went straight from steed to Hampton.
My mistake

 

Steed retired after 1999 season... and Kimo Von Oelhoffen was the NT in 2000 season. Kimo was a 3-4 DE, but played NT until Hampton was drafted and ready in 2001. Hampton was a true NT, like Joel Steed.... so technically what I said was true, from a certain point of view (Return of the Jedi reference).

 

Lord knows I hate pointing out the obvious, but in this instance I must. So which is it? Your biggest frustration is the Steelers defense and all of its woes that arent supported by the article you posted? Or is it this new one you made up on the fly in attempt to save face?

No it wasn’t true at the end. The end was simply a loaded defense retiring and their replacement learning on the fly and some not being good enough. Then people like yourself come along spewing statistics that are barely relevant and pounding your chests as if you know better. Then when you’re called on it you move the goal posts. That’s what you do and it’s perfectly illustrated by this thread. This is my biggest problem oh wait it’s not that it’s really this

The Eagles got a little lucky Carter dropped from the top 5 due to off the field concerns, they also got a little lucky with the best CB Mitchell going that late in the first round that usually doesn't happen.

our defense has been very reliant on TJ, if hes neutralized we’re usually in trouble as a whole defensively.
