He didn't wear Joe Namath's #12 last year with the Jets so there is no way he is going to wear Bradshaw's #12 here.

 

The Jets retired Joe’s #12 in 85…….. Bradshaw’s isn’t retired.

No I’m not. Knowing that there was a love/hate relationship between him,fans, for a while I’m just curious if anyone thinks that Rodgers, a future HOF, should be allowed to wear the 12 for his last attempt to win a Super Bowl .

Win a SB?? Come on Cajun. He would have to turn the clock back at least 5 years and MT would have to disappear.

 

Namath contacted Rodgers last year and gave him permission to wear #12 but Rodgers declined to wear it, he certainly wouldn't wear #12 here in Pittsburgh.

Regardless he shouldn't wear it. For all intents and purposes that number is retired.

My jersey growing up was the #12. Bradshaw all the way! My wife got me a Woodson#26 for Christmas 1995, that and our first born. Switched to #26 at that time. All that to say, I really don't care what number Aaron Rodgers wears if he signs with the Steelers. Let him wear #12 at home and #7 on the road.
