I asked when the playoffs are on, does the media , and everyone call it the playoffs, is it not even shown on tv as the playoffs???
When the SB is on, have You ever one time seen it showed, broadcasted, or labeled as the playoffs ???

They do call the last game of the playoffs the Super Bowl

The playoff game before is called the conference championship

The playoff game before is called Divisional Championship

The playoff game before is called Wild Card

Not sure what the problem is. There are three categories of football games, preseason, regular season, and playoffs (or "postseason"). There are names applied to different games within those categories, "Monday Night" game, "AFC Championship", "Superbowl". Official records show stats under the categories, with individual games listed for each.

 

LoL. There was no problem....outside of the semantics of the whole wording, by last afternoon, I was just conversing to waste time before I had to go play. Even now after many years of playing, I still get bad nerves, and that's my way of getting it off my mind. LoL

 

You, me and a few others here remember that the game was called the NFL-AFL World Championship game. The name Superbowl wasn't in existence until the Jets/Colts game.

 

So it wasn't called the NFL-AFL last playoff game???

I look at it like this: if I want to call it a playoff game named the Super Bowl, and you want to say Super Bowl at the end of the playoff games, we can both think we're right and the Earth won't cease to spin on its axis.
