With it becoming more clear where some players will be slotted and a better understanding of needs vs. draftees I developed my final mock. I'm no expert and I'm hoping this draft class is a stellar one.

As always I covet your opinions. I may do a mock 3.1 if convinced by you changes are drastically needed. Otherwise it is what it is and I'm ready for the debating to begin.

Rd. 1 Jarvis Jones OLB Georgia= It is looking more and more likely he falls to us. If so we can't pass on him.

Rd. 2 Barrett Jones Center Alabama= Due to Jones falling we'll never see Cooper. Jones may be the poor man's Cooper but make no mistake, IF we get him he'll start day one beside Pouncey @ either LG or Center depending on which combination works best.

Rd. 3 Ryan Swope WR Texas A&M= Most likely we're just renting Sanders for a year so a Top WR is needed. Swope will be an upgrade to Sanders if we loose him and if we keep him we'll have a formidable WR corps for the next 4 years.

Rd. 4 Johnathan Franklin RB UCLA= A perfect fit for the upcoming switch to a zone blocking scheme and a change of pace guy.

Rd. 5 Earl Wolff SS NC State= Again the top safeties will be gone by early 3rd and more value is to be had with the WR/RB selections. Earl is a talented safety being overshadowed and overlooked by a very deep safety class. He'll replace Mundy easily and could become a starter in a few years.

Rd. 6a A.J. Klein ILB Iowa State=I still like Nico and think if he's here we'll take him but most likely some-one will grab him somewhere in the 5th.early 6th.

Rd. 6b Zac Dysert QB Miami (OH)= Its a weak QB Class which could cause him to fall to the 6th with the depth of the WR/safety class. Last year proved we need better depth at QB.

Rd. 7 Jake Stoneburner TE Ohio St.= I still feel like Vance McDonald will easliy be a top 10 TE in a few years. In the 7th why not draft a potential skill player. He won't be the next miller but he should be better than David Johnson. At 6'3" and 250 he won't defeat many DE/OLBer pass blocking but he has good hands and finds the seams well and blocks very well at the 2nd level.

Well, this is it, Let the debating begin.

Jones/Jones/Swope would be a bit of a dream draft for me. I still have reservations if both the Jones' will be around for both of our picks. Granted, its not a longshot like it would have been 2 months ago.

I know people will be clamoring about the S, so I may go there in Round 4 and hope a guy like Barner could be there in Round 5. I like the QB choice, being from Miami OH, maybe Ben will treat him a little better.

    I do like this draft:thumbs_up:!

I almost Went with Phillip Thomas in the 4th and Kenjon Barner in the 5th. I really like Thomas but I seriously doubt he's there in the 4th when we pick.

I also almost went with another WR in the 6th and Tulane's QB Griffin in the 7th but I feel Zac's value in the 6th is too high to pass on.

I'm so content with our OL, with either Foster/Beachum holding down the LG position, I hope we pass on Jones in that scenario. I'd prefer Jones/Hayden/Swope

I'm quoting myself just to make a correction. I seriously doubt Franklin is there in the 4th so we'll go K. Barner or Michael with C. Michael getting the edge.

I would love Franklin but he'll go rd 2 now, Probably 2nd RB taken as he's moving up boards.
