Not a documentary it's a movie with a plot based on true events.

Only one Leslie Nielson (who made me laugh out loud in every old B&W drama he appeared in after watching Airplane and Naked Gun movies) but Liam in a slapstick comedy, as you said Ray, should be interesting. Hilarious response when Nordberg's son looked at his Dad's picture on the wall. Wonder if the USC Marching Band makes an appearance? :hmm:

    I just like that it's not a remake. They're honoring Leslie's memory.

We went to see The Amateur last night. Pretty good flick. I didn't realize it, but it's a remake. Also based on a book.

It isn't something people are going to still be talking about a couple of years from now, but it was a good, enjoyable vigilante/spy movie.

Best horror movie I've seen this year is a 2022 Australian horror movie called Talk to Me

Watched a 2024 Horror movie last night called Never Let Go, with Halle Berry (she's still fine, even when they are not trying to make her that way)....It gave me big vibes of the 2001 Bill Paxton, and Matthew McConaughey movie Frailty (don't know if any of You have seen that), anyways it was pretty good, but it left you wondering, just like Frailty did. Anyone seen it???

I did not know that. (Johnny Carson said that a lot) I forgot about The Accountant. Good movie. Not a big Affleck fan but liked him in this and The Sum of all Fears. (great novel) I'll be checking this out.

The Onion Field made me cry. Wambaugh wrote some real tear-jerker books and screenplays. ;)

Kind of a kinder, gentler Walt Kowalski without the Gran Torino. Good movie though!
