In that case maybe Amari can be a low end #2? My brief look at his 2024 highlights seemed to show a pretty slow WR, but I never thought of him as dynamic speed or quickness wise.

There is not plenty of talent at receiver. One reason the offense struggled so much last season was the lack of a valid No. 2 receiver. They just repeated that mistake. Maybe Khan will fix it this time by adding someone, but as of now, that hasn't happened.

I would aim higher than Cooper he didn't look good with Buffalo, they should try and trade for a WR.

 

I would really like Gabe Davis out of these 3. But I would do it soon. Can't repeat the same mistake as last year.

 

They got 12 picks next year just trade a 3rd or 4th to improve your WR room.

 

Well, we didn't really run it well in 2023... we were only t-16 in YPC (4.1ypc). That is only as high as it is due to an anomalous year in team YPC. It was super low in 2023. In 2024 we had the same 4.1 YPC, but were 20th in the league. We had 4.2 YPC (so, better rushing year) in 2022 and it was t-23 in the NFL in YPC. We run it a lot...top 10 in attempts the last 3 years... but we don't run it well. And we didn't run it well the past 3 years with a better receiving corps than what we are rolling into the year with this year. Teams are going to load the box and dare us to throw it. We have 1 established WR and Mason Rudolph at QB at the moment. If we can't prove to teams that we can hurt them in the air if they load the box, it wouldn't matter if we had Saquon Barkley running it for us. There's going to be nowhere to go.

Pickens and DJ is a much better WR room than we have now. Pickens and DK are a wash imo (personally, I think Pickens is slightly better... but its close enough either way for it to be a wash in my book), but we don't have a DJ on our roster. You all can hate on him because you didn't like his attitude, but in the 2020-2022 seasons (3 year stretch) he averaged 988 yards a season despite only starting 44 of the 50 games during that stretch. He was a pretty good player and a MORE than competent #2 when on the field. Calvin Austin is a guy I like, but lets keep in mind he caught 36 balls for 536 yards last year. Are we expecting him to jump into a #2 role and catch 60 balls for 800 yards? I don't think so. Robert Woods isn't that guy anymore, and it feels like we are solely relying
