It looks like a run-away for Wilcox, so with that I'm going to close the voting..

On N.F.L. live today, Mel Kiper picked Wilcox as his " D.B. player to watch".

Well... in my opinion this mock draft has been a complete disaster for the Steelers. I got home too late to vote. I would have gone with Dwayne Gratz, CB, UCONN, but that clearly wouldn't have swayed the vote. I think that he will be, at minimum, a solid #3 in the NFL. Instead we went with a Div 1-AA safety who played 1 year at the position. I'm sure that the kid has potential, but there were a bunch of proven, high production safeties that we passed on earlier.

agree and that's could mean the steelers should draft a safety early in the real draft , a lot of teams are looking for the position

Mr. Mckittrick, after very careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that this draft sucks.

Better not play out like this for real :lolol:

Wow. Reading comprehension is NOT my friend. I looked up and down at this three times to be sure he wasn't picked. Maybe I need my eyes examined.

Want a little tip to help with this?

Go to the 1st page in the seletion's thread scroll to the beginning of the post with all the picks listed...

And MOST browsers you can press CTRL F...which is the shortcut for Find and a box will pop up on the top right (at least on Chrome) and you type in the players name and if it doesnt come up with results then the player probably hasn't been selected.

Thanks for the text hotkey. Didn't realize it worked in browsers too.

Sadly, I DID search the text with the selections in it. My eyes just stink apparently

STEELERS 5th ROUND VOTING IS NOW OPEN!

Here are their selections so far...

    Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
    Zach Ertz TE Stanford
    Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin
    JJ Wilcox, SS, Georgia Southern

Hmmm...not too many good WRs left I dont think...ILB there could be a few...definitely not ideal how its turned out so far...

I think that any worthwhile WRs will still be there in the 6th, so I vote A.J. Klein, ILB, Iowa State.

IMO his upside is similar to Sean Lee. He's not as NFL ready coming out as Lee was, but I think he can be the same caliber player in a year or two with good coaching and patience.

I would rather have the c.b. so I'll vote for cummings.

While there are other CB's out there...and I do think they need one...

But I think based on rankings...needs...etc...at this point I think Klein (who I've seen listed as high as a 3rd rounder)...would be where I'd go here. I know they have a number of unknown/unproven guys who can play ILB...but from what I've researched Klein is the better value here.

    So Klein for me too.

As a side note I will be leaving here soon and will not be back until late tonight...so either the voting can stay open until then...or if numbah is around and can call the voting (unless its VERY close). Thanks!

I'm going to have to say Klien also. I think we could use a few back up ILBs and LBs in general.
