John Elway's Golf Cart Accident..........

Just saw where Elway and his agent/manager from back in the early 90's had a spill in their gold cart and the other guy died from his injuries. WTF? Booze? Cart path divot? Very strange.

After reading this quick story - looks like 5 were riding in the cart. Perhaps too many passengers along with 4-5 sets of clubs?

That's a terrible thing.

 

A few golf cart incidents I've seen and been involved in. A Japanese group with very expensive camera's were having a grand time. They forgot to set the brake on a hill and their cart rolled into water. Camera's were lost to damage but they got their clubs back.

We were a good 2-3 miles from clubhouse and the cart breaks down. We lug are clubs all the way back. They give us another cart and they head out to retrieve broken cart. When they get there it's gone. We forgot to set the brake and the damn thing rolled into the frigging lake.

There have been other deadly golf cart accidents. Sink holes in Florida have claimed a few lives.

 

They have some hellacious golf cart accidents at The Villages in central Florida. The people who live there are too old/infirm/drunk to drive cars, but you can drive a golf cart just about everywhere. Check out videos on YouTube for some of their wrecks. They are rumored to get tanked up and have jousting matches with golf carts and catheters.

Playing in St Croix once maybe Buccaneer bay IIRC? I had a partner fall out and rolled down the hill on the course
I didn't stop.

It all ended with me holing a shot from 120 out blinded by a bush

The Buccaneer Hotel. Piece of heaven. Wife wanted to go to St. Croix and tempted me with the name of Hotel. You know, Pirates, Bucs. I went over to the 9 hole course. The Reefer club as I called it.

Had to rent clubs so it did not go well but what a frigging beautiful spot.
