True Detective: Night County

I know someone was talking about this show on here, well I'm finally going to start watching it tonight. LoL. Hope it's as good as others said.

 

I knew that someone had talked about it. I'm only 2 episodes in, and I Love it so freak far.

 

Watch the first season. Then the 3rd, 4th, and if you must the 2nd

 

Too late. I'm already watching the 2nd. It's cool so far. Although the theme song when it starts the 1st verse reminds me of the doors When Your Strange.

 

You’re starting with season 2?

 

It's what my friend had, so yeah. From what I have heard they're all different characters, and different stories, set in different places, with just Easter eggs to link them. Kinda like American Horror stories was, and so far the only season I can get my hands on is season 2.

 

None of the seasons come close to season 1. Top 10 all time series for me. Season 2 sucked balls. Worse of the 4 seasons. Season 4 Night Country was decent thanks to Jodie Foster.

 

Night Country is what I'm watching. I thought it was season 2???
Well that changes everything then ....LoL Not.

 

Trust me, I met no one that like season 2. You are watching season 4 which was decent. Hope you one day get to see Season 1 with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. Matthew played a deep dark character. Kicked ass! Dark subject matter.

I often wonder if season 2would have been better received if it had come first. That first season set the bar so high besting it was an impossible goal. Woody and Matthew were outstanding. D’addario has a fantastic rack too

 

Is it just me or does the theme song verses remind You of When your Strange???

 

Well, you should be able to see all before season 5 release.

Ok. I liked The Night Country, but, and I wonder are all of the other seasons like this one, where they hint a supernatural/ H.P.L themes, and then it's something natural???? I mean they were almost heading into Ithaqua realm of a story, and then no.... Reminds me of the Hounds of Baskerville, or other Sherlock Holmes stuff, it's supernatural, but no it's not.

 

HBO hoping for 2027 for season 5. Gonna be set in Jamaica Bay, NY.

 

Nah, season 4 only one with that stuff in it.
