    Not buying it.

Benton has the leverage and length but lacks the true power to double team at a consistent rate. Black has done that for a long time at Iowa. Black also has tremendous length and size the same. Yahya will be seeing NT sooner than he thinks.

Yahya has to get his pad level under control. The leverage he possesses is good enough. It is his contact balance that will need some work.

I'll take the Iowa O-linemen as well.

Not knocking Johnson, but some of the holes he ran through were large enough for the marching band to roll their tractor through.

My personal favorites are when they troll their rival in the north.

Benton sucked at NT and struggled against double teams.

This is what I was used to on Saturdays.

If you look closely you can identify the vets from the rookies, who didn't properly manage their beverage consumption and were in danger of :puking 3:

It's concerning with what DL coach Karl Dunbar was saying after the draft it sounds like they want to keep Benton at NT, did they not see the DL get manhandled by the Ravens twice last season.

That is just rhetoric until a rookie is ready to start taking game snaps

Glad to help you out in your time of need

Obviously he's not going to come out day 1 and declare a rookie will replace the current starter. Nor should he. We're not even close to deciding a depth chart yet.

Read a sobering write-up on Black being ragdolled around by Linderbaum in college. Now we'll get to see it twice a season.

    Where's the next Casey Hampton?

    I mean...

Black was ragdolled by Linderbaum as that season was Linderbaums final year if I recall. Even if it wasn't, that was very early on for Black in terms of his first ever taste of action going from High School to College. Black ended up getting better as a result.

For that matter, I expect Black to outplay his draft position.
