Pittsburgh Penguins 2024-25

The problem is not Sullivan. It was Hexstall first and now Dubas as the GM’s. Whoever the next coach is will also have his hands tied with mediocre talent below Malkin and Crosby. The Pens defense is terrible and a Stanley Cup type team can’t win without great defense.

 

I try but NHL Playoffs just ain't got that punch without the Pens. Always loved the NHL Playoffs. After the Pens last Cup it started to fade and with the Pens out of it the last few years it's pretty much gone. But dammit, we were better then the Flyers!

 

NHL playoffs are still awesome but the officiating is a bit suspect just like every other sport these days. I root against teams and hardly for them. Hopefully Crapitals get eliminated but they will be tough to beat.

 

In no way am I a fan but I respect Ovechkin's career. I was a bit pissed when he passed Gretzky. Many years ago I was in the Capitol and Pens were in town. We went and the mofo scored game winner. Early season game. I think it was the year we smoked them in the Playoffs.

 

Crosby is by far a better overall player but Ovechkin is still doing amazing things at his age. I’d like to see a graph of all his goals. I guarantee 85% of them are from the left point.
