The steelers do not have money for both.

I agree, but I also think there are ways to improve this team while losing Sanders. To me, I want Bradshaw and Breaston. They make this team better together than adding Sanders back alone. In addition, you get an additional 3rd round pick which will help down the line.

Hard to argue with that logic. However, before going with Breaston I would kick the tires on Laurent Robinson and see: 1) if our medical people are comfortable that his concussion issues from last season are not a problem going forward, and 2) if he's also going to be accepting of a 1 yr/vet min type of deal that Breaston will probably get. It's close, but I think I like Robinson ever so slightly more.

    That's not really true.

As of now (with Sander's tender against the cap) we're something like 2 mil under. So we could match the Patriots right now and still be under the cap. With ANOTHER restructure/extension to someone like Clark, Troy, Heath we could free up space to sign Bradshaw. We will also get money on June 1st from cutting Willie Colon that should be enough to sign all of our draft picks.

So we could sign both relatively easily... But I wouldn't like it because another restructure just hurts us more and more in the future.

We can't restructure Clark because he's in the final year of his contract, but we can do a 1 year extension and clear up a small amount of cap space. I personally think that he's as good now as he's ever been. The question is whether you want to bet on him playing at a high level for 2 more seasons.

I'm torn, although 3rd round picks are valuable, it is just as likely the Steelers could choose a bust(Limas Sweed, Bruce Davis) as they are to find a hit(Mike Wallace). So as of this minute I am leaning towards wanting to keep Sanders. A bird in the hand is greater than two in the bush. My opinion seems to change hourly. In addition, it sends a bad message to Ben as far as whether the Steelers want to win now because, lets face it, they're not even sure what they have in Brown on the other side. Definitely will be an interesting draft. GO STEELERS!

Since the Bengals signed Scott today does that mean we are closer to getting Bradshaw for a better bargain since teams passing on him probably drive his price down a little right?

No. If they want him and they work out a number...then they will get him. Its that simple.
