I had him as the fifth best Wideout in the class.

    Tennessee got unbelievable value here.

I like the Sawyer pick, because Watt always seemed to be getting dinged up as the season goes on, this will give TJ watt good depth support so we won't have to rely heavily on him especially towards the end of the season when it counts, now with Sawyer, TJ can be more healthy and not so spent back half of season, good needed depth pick up, solid not flashy, and good value

Exactly. To quote The Emperor regarding Sanders; "There are problems, and they are many."

Everything they have shown us so far suggest they (Steelers)don't either. I wish Him all the best though.

I’m resigned to the fact that they arent going to take a QB this draft and it’s pissing me off. Cant hit a HR if you dont swing the bat.

    Sanders
    Howard
    McCord

    are all worth a swing.

He still remains the 35th ranked player.
A lot of people are scratching there heads........
There could be the 'drama' element, I wasn't there. But we should be able to overcome that. (Pittsburgh definitely has had it's share of drama.)
At this point, it's a 'can't be hurt' kind of deal. He's going to be the 3rd or 4th QB on the roster.

Van Jefferson moving down the Titans depth chart. The brass screwed the WR room last year. It could be the QB room this year.

That's basically my angle. At this point in the draft, he's not going to hurt you to take a look.

Clownish. Why would I ever scout QBs when we had Ben

I never ever scouted them before Willis. I see you havent changed, still making baseless bs accusations and dont back them up :thumbs up:

I think the last three are QB, OL, and DB. Still some OGs out there and the few project QBs we keep mentioning. DBs like Frazier, Strong, Mickens, Reed and a few others are left.

First of all I don’t know what you mean by the”35th ranked player.” By who? Second, how will the Sanders family ego train handle him being the 3rd or 4th QB on the roster? Why do we need that baggage for a guy who clearly has limited upside on film?

Has anyone thought that they may have their eyes on the future, and don't want to waste anymore time like on the Kenny Pickett pick

I think one of those three could very well be the next Steelers pick to be honest

Shedeur slide or not, I was already under the presumption that Pittsburgh's target for nabbing the next one is 2026. However, given how the likes of Cleveland and the Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for 2026 as well, we are in for one hell of a draft day prize fight.

Yeah ok. Why would I ever say a CB would be good if We weren't going to draft any. Your right You never once mentioned another Qb would be any good anywhere in the last 7 year except Willis. Hey I also have some gold mines in Arkansas I like to sell people. If people believe what You are trying to say, they should believe that too.

I may be wrong, but pretty sure they never could go back to 'amateur' status. When they were allowed to declare early and hired an agent that door closed. It got so bad with agents preying on these kids they established a 'rating system' by a variety of scouts, GM's etc. that gave the kids a more honest assessment of where they would likely be drafted. This was way before NIL and the kids were leaving early for various reasons, and once done they lost every chance of receiving a future scholarship to compete and complete their education. It's different now, at least he can look at the landscape, take an opportunity to secure some NIL and/or co-op cash and get more education (though that seems to the least of their focus).
