Pick the player they actually choose. Having a little fun. We'll see who was right.

I'm going out on a limb despite what I said in the past

    Shedeur Sanders!

Falls to 21 no one thought was possible.

    Now your turn.

I prefer Kenneth Grant but I think the pick will be Derrick Harmon.

After a trade down in the 1st to pick 24 with Texans.................................

Jaxson Dart. and PASS on Sanders!

Me, I do same trade to pick up pick 89, hope for Harmon to fall to me. If not, I look to trade down again, UNLESS Grant:beg:, Will Johnson, or Barron is still on the board in that order.:aikido:

I wouldn't be shocked if the Browns, or Giants called us up and offered up their 2nds to come up for Sanders, and or Dart. Going to be fun to see!!:drinks:
The problem with trading down any farther is Baltimore.:ratbirds: They are a prime spot for Harmon. I'm not buying the injury slide for Harmon, and I don't think Grant makes it to us. The chargers at pic 22 could take either with Grant above Harmon. Time will tell. less than 24 hrs left.

Got a bad feeling the BUNGLES are taking Harmon just before us!:frustrated:

In any case we are going to get a great player of need and value at 21, Hoping they take the risk with a small trade down, see who's there and maybe even trade down again.

If they decide to trade Pickens, hope they don't accept ANYTHING less than a 2nd. Saints 40, Chicago's 41,Dallas #44, Green bay's 54, any of those would do. Me I keep him, maybe even extend him. Just TOO much talent!!!

and to continue the recent tradition of playing their first rounder in a position they’re not used to, MT designates Sanders starting WR2

Yeah, its been a few times past 5 years...they really need to stop that crap. If you have a need or hole, draft a player that has, can and will play that position a high level.
We're not the only team to mess up a good player by moving him around, but it seems to be TOO frequent with the Steelers.

I'm not sure it is going to happen, but this is my hope. I would be very happy with Harmon or Grant. I don't think both make it to them and I don't think they get either if they trade back.

I despise mock drafts. Other than the obvious, they are the equivalent of pulling names out of a hat.
But giving them a little attention this morning, I find it out several have Sheduer Sanders being selected.
I don't know why he would drop with a couple teams way ahead of us needing a QB.

Our war room is nothing spectacular, they are more like Mr. Milktoast.
A trade up isn't going to happen, a trade down is not likely.
I don't like the fact they are in a spot where they are drafting for need, I'd much rather be in a spot where you can pick a player cause he is the best and can add dimension to your team.
I think the first pick will be the obvious, OL or DL - Zabel or Grant maybe.
This draft is fairly deep in OL/DL and they aren't in position to nab a premier OL/DL player at 21, I would think going after a skill player (BPA) would be the choice.
    It's just a guess.

I'm more interested in watching how teams like Washington, Buffalo, Chargers, 49ers and even Detroit figure ways to win this race. Those war rooms are a little more planned out and active.

QB is an obvious need. RB i believe is also. warren got dinged up quite a bit last year. gainwell isn't going to lead the team in rushing. patterson. hull. ward. shampklin. do those names make you all warm and fuzzy?

    henderson, hampton, judkins.

I have no idea how this draft will fall. I won't even be watching the thing as it unfolds. Just a few things I think will happen tonight though.
    1. The Steelers will sit at 21 to make their pick.

    2. Harmon, Grant, Emmanwori, and Sanders will all still be on the board when we pick.

    3. No matter who the Steelers draft, the fans will hate it.

I don’t know, Khan was pretty active his first draft with trading. Don’t think he made any in last years draft. Will be interesting to see how he approaches this one. If he again is wheeling and dealing then Mr Milktoast will have to be reserved for Colbert.

with the addition of otomewo, ekuale, loudermilk back, lowry, lee drafted last year, adams, cam for two years more, benton, slade, davis, i just don't see a 1st used on a DT. it's too deep in them and it's not like they will quit making DT's after this year.

QB, RB to me are the top two positions of need. probably followed by CB, OT, G. JMO.
