People keep bringing this up did Art and Tomlin say there will be changes or big changes? They got rid of their starting QB and DB, ILB coach .

They apparently didn’t want to sign him very bad

So call it what you want but they let him go

Yea i think tomlin is Depending on AR signing, he is looking for a PROVEN SB winning QB , I think he is hearing the rumblings by the fans the past few years.. .If they go with Mason as starting QB this year and he doesnt win a playoff game, or has a losing season. I think it will be Tomlins last season, exstension or not

This would contradict what the team's owner said in his end of year presser.

The offseason is far from over, but thus far they've shown little change to standard operating procedure outside of the Metcalf trade.

Wanting to sign one and wanting to sign one at any price are two different things

Fields rebuffed the Steelers. They didn’t want Wilson back. I would say those were earth shattering moves.

I don’t think that will happen unless he elects to walk away. Rooney will not fire him.

Exactly. They needed to replace the Oline coach and the DC.

At any price? Neither signed for an unreasonable amount relative to the current market. If ownership thinks the type of change that will improve the team is offering sub-market for the players it wishes to keep, they may be disappointed with the results.

And if there is any veracity to the reports on the org being 'surprised' by Fields signing with the Jets, his leaving can't be attributed to change they meant to make anyway, which brings us back to the original point of what 'big changes' have they truly made?

Tomlin changing to wearing panties and bigger sunglasses are not the changes we really need.

I said they got rid of their starting QB Russell Wilson, the rumors were the miscommunication issues were from the ILBs and DBs both of those coaches are gone.

That's on you guys if you really thought Art was going to pay two coaches to sit at home after firing them.

If the Steelers have a top 10 - 15 pick next year there's is no reason in bringing a new hc coach and letting him pick his qb, Tomlin only has a year or 2 after this season anyway

You're adorable. You don't actually believe that do you? Deep in your heart of hearts?

Is your thinking that he's going to retire, or step down? What would lead you to believe that, at 53, he's going to walk away from a job, that he clearly loves, making $16 million a year? He's obviously not under serious pressure to produce trophies. And, he has damn near total control over one of the most beloved sports teams in the world. He's not going to be fired if that's what you're thinking. I don't believe for one second that Tomlin will be out while Art is still in charge. Maybe once Danny takes over in 5-10 years.
